Café Kit

Your Café Kit: social posts and specials boards

Three tools for the job, what they'd cost you each month, and the guides that go with them.

This is the kit for the answers below. Get fitted to tailor it to your business.

  • Team: Just me
  • Bookings or payments now: Card reader or cash only
  • Already using: none of the ones we asked about
  • Budget for new tools: Up to £50
  • New apps: Happy with apps

Your three tools

  1. New for you

Canva (Free) (opens in a new tab)

    Free (checked 20 Oct 2026)

  2. New for you

ChatGPT (Free) (opens in a new tab)

Drafts captions from a few words about each photo, for you to check.

    Free (checked 20 Oct 2026)

  3. New for you

Square (Free plan) (opens in a new tab)

A free till plan that keeps your sales history in one place. Card fees apply.

    Free (checked 20 Oct 2026)

    Plus processing fees.

New spend per month: £0 (nothing new to pay for)

Kit total, including what you already pay: £0 a month

Prices are per month, as each vendor quotes them. Most are before VAT, and we've marked ‘+ VAT’ where the vendor says so. Card fees are extra wherever you take payments. ‘approx.’ means the figure was converted from dollars or euros, or taken from a guide rather than the vendor's own UK page, so check it before you buy. Prices checked on 20 Oct 2026.

The full Café Kit

We're putting together the full Café Kit: all three café guides, the ‘same settings in other apps’ sections, more ready-to-paste prompts and a one-page chart of which app fits you. It isn't ready yet.

Other café kits: replying to reviews or stock, ordering and waste. See every café tool in the directory.
